I was glad when they said unto me, "Let us go into the house of the Lord."
Psalm 122:1
"CHRISTIAN FRIENDS"
Thank you Lord For Christian friends whose paths you've caused To Meet with mine, and those who've paused To Listen and advise, Or only listen.
Thank you Lord For making my path meet with thier's And for their laughter and their tears That glisten and surmise, Or only glisten.
Thank you Lord The most for that One Friend that sticks So close to me and always picks My paths and Christian friends He knows I need.

"CHURCH HISTORY"
Axton Baptist Church was organized in 1886. It first met in a schoolhouse. The church was first called Union Baptist Church. Later it was called Axton Missionary Baptist Church.
The first church building was built in 1907. It was a white frame building with a steeple. It could seat 200 people.
For some years one pastor served Axton, Lone Oak, Mount Vernon and Ridgeway Baptist Churches. The parsonage was located in Axton across the road from where the present church is now located.
In 1947 the church sold its building and property to the Axton School Board. New land was given by a church member to build a new church at the present site. The new church was completed in May, 1950.
The church went fulltime with its own pastor January, 1954. In 1996 a new fellowship hall and classrooms were added.
A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was preparing to
leave the examination room and said, "Doctor, I am afraid
to die. Tell me what lies on the other side."
Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know."
"You don't know? You, a Christian man, do not know what
is on the other side?"
The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other
side of which came a sound of scratching and whining, and as
he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped
on him with an eager show of gladness.
Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice my
dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't! know
what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was
here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I
know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do
know one thing...I know my Master is there and that is
enough."
This is called the Roman Road because all the verses come from the book of Romans.
We are all sinners:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. 3:23
God still loves us:
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 5:8
Sin = Death:
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 6:23
You must confess:
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 10:9-10,13
"ABILITY"
"Ability" is what you're capable of doing. "Motivation" determines what you do. "Attitude" determines how well you do it.
"Elderly Jokes"
A man was telling his neighbor, “I just bought a new hearing aid. It cost me four thousand dollars, but it’s state of the art. It’s perfect.”
“Really,” answered the neighbor. “What kind is it?”
“Twelve thirty”
